Templeton on the Green - previously known as Templeton Carpet Factory, is a distinctive landmark located adjacent to the People’s Palace, Glasgow. Originally opened in 1892, the Templeton on the Green now offers contemporary office suites set within a stunning Grade A listed environment. Designed by the architect William Leiper on the instruction of James Templeton and Son, Templeton takes inspiration from the famous Doge’s Palace in Venice, reflected through the stunning western façade facing Glasgow Green. The building served as Templeton and Son’s production site for their patented spool Axminster Carpets until the early 1980’s, after which the building was transformed into the modern office and lifestyle village it is today. Templeton on the Green offers a wide range of accommodation to suit all occupiers, neatly arranged between Templeton House, The White Studios and the famous Doge’s Palace.
